bathroom

Bathroom before:

The existing accessible shower was no longer needed and was to be replaced by a modern quadrant shower enclosure, which would free up valuable floor and wall space that could in turn be used for a radiator and towel rail, as well as a bathroom mirror and cabinet, with extra storage underneath.

The plumbing work invloved here would be minimal, as the washbasin and WC would stay in the same place, with only the shower outlet needing to move into the corner to serve the new shower. Walls would be made good and the old tiles replaced by glass-finish metro tiles. And the floor was to be taken back to the original floor boards, which would be sanded and sealed with yacht varnish, providing a warm and natural floor finish.
